Do largemouth roam at night?
There is no best hour for every waterbody. Low light can improve exposed shallow opportunities, while weeds, rocks, reduced visibility or current can keep shallow fish available during daylight. Compare local temperature, forage and recent catches. Bright clear calm conditions justify checking cover and deeper alternatives, not automatically abandoning shallow water.
