How deep do largemouth actually go?
No single depth describes largemouth. Shallow cover, feeding flats and deeper structure can all work when temperature, oxygen and prey permit. Canadian late-autumn fish can still occupy a 2–3 m (7–10 ft) weedbed; summer fish need not move deep at noon. Use the last productive position, nearby cover and adjacent depth as a sequence to test.
