Jig hooks and jig heads: Original Ned heads

The original build: the shape as it first appeared. Every variant on the sibling pages started from this one: some fit a rig (Texas-rigged), some get through cover (weedless), some add a way of fishing it (swing).

A mushroom head with a flat face on a light-wire hook, point exposed, no guard, for a short buoyant stick bait. When the head rests, the floating plastic stands up.

Jig hooks and jig heads
