How does largemouth forage shift through the seasons?
Follow locally available prey rather than a fixed seasonal menu. Fish, crayfish and other prey contribute differently among waters and life stages. Cooling generally reduces feeding demand but does not mean no feeding. Look for actual forage observations at useful cover and structure; prey availability can move bass between feeding areas.
