Do largemouth stay in one area, or do they roam the whole lake?
Both occur. Eastern Ontario telemetry found individual differences, including discrete home ranges and more transient movement. A useful home range connects feeding resources with shelter. Weather, food availability and seasonal requirements can alter its use. Keep several candidate feeding areas in your plan and record the conditions that make each useful.
