Consider manufacturer-supported micro-jig applications. Larger bass, heavy cover and abrupt loads require demonstrated margin. Do not prescribe ester to every rig below an arbitrary pound test.

Polyester monofilament differs from polyester braid. A universal 5–8% elongation specification is unsupported.
