Which reel speed?
7.1:1 baseline. 7.5-8.1:1 when you rip or burn — each rip throws slack and the fast reel picks it up before the next one. 6.2-6.8:1, or a 2500 spinning reel, for slow twitch and micro baits, where a fast reel makes the pulls too long.
