How do I repair torn muskie rubber baits and tooth-damaged wooden muskie lures — which glue holds?

Muskie baits cost enough to make repair routine. Most big rubber baits are PVC plastisol: heat-weld torn tails and bodies with a lighter or soldering tip, or use a plastisol solvent glue such as Mend-It. TPE / ElaZtech baits are different — Mend-It will not bond them and heat makes a mess; only super glue (cyanoacrylate) holds, leaving a hard spot you cannot rig through. Wood and plastic hard baits need two-part epoxy or UV resin at lips, cracks and hook hangers, thin super glue in hairlines, and clear nail polish or UV topcoat over tooth holes, because unsealed wood takes on water and the action changes. Smell is the least of it: muskie are almost pure eyes, and scent mostly matters as contamination. Cure overnight for bond strength, then air and rinse. Store TPE and PVC apart — they melt together.
