Kicking Frog (Buzz Toad): What it is
A soft-plastic toad with paddle legs, rigged weedless on a wide-gap hook (often with a screw-lock keel weight). Reel it steadily and the legs kick a buzzing wake on the surface; kill it and it glides down like a swimbait — which is exactly what it is: a topwater swimbait for grass.
