Paddle-tail swimbait: Trade-offs
It is a moving bait — fish that want a bait sitting still will not eat it. Size to the forage: 2.8-3.5 in finesse paddle tails on 1/8-1/4 oz heads for smallmouth and pressured fish, 4-5 in on 3/8-1/2 oz for largemouth, 6-8 in when you are hunting one fish.
