Copolymer / fluoro-coated nylon: Diameter and sensitivity

Stretch can soften long-distance fine control, but nylon still transmits force. This project's default for precise bottom contact is PE or suitable fluorocarbon. Thinner line may reduce drag and bending restriction but sacrifices margin. Short leaders cannot be judged like a whole spool of main line.

Copolymer / fluoro-coated nylon

Copolymer nylon and fluoro-coated nylon are distinct designs grouped here for browsing. Copolymerization is not coextrusion; coating does not make a line 100% fluorocarbon.
