Do crappie schools return to the same spots?
Reliably — crappie show strong seasonal site fidelity. The same brush pile, crib, channel bend, or dock that held a school last November will very likely hold one this November, because the structural logic that concentrated fish there (depth, shade, bait funneling) has not changed. What returns is not necessarily the same individuals but the same slot in the lake's seasonal rotation. This is why serious crappie anglers keep waypoint libraries and why sunken brush piles get planted: you are building appointments the fish will keep.
