Offset hooks: Weighted EWG, finesse

A weighted EWG in finesse or hybrid wire: the shank or keel weight carries a fluke or a small swimbait, and the lighter hook keeps the bait's action.

Item	Detail
Weight	0.9–3.5 g (1/32–1/8 oz)
Wire	Finesse to hybrid
Baits	Flukes, 3–4" (7.5–10 cm) swimbaits, soft jerkbaits
Rigs	Weightless-style swimbait, twitching over grass, skipping
Also	One of the weighted offset hooks

Finesse and a wide gap is a lot of leverage for a fish: set with a sweep, not a snap.
