Weightless Texas Rig: What it is
A Texas rig with the weight left off: a 4-5 in (10-13 cm) salted stick bait or a soft jerkbait (fluke) Tex-posed on a 3/0-4/0 offset hook, fished on 12-15 lb fluorocarbon. The bait sinks slowly and level on its own salt weight, shimmying as it goes; twitched, a fluke darts side to side like a fleeing shiner. It is weedless, so it goes over grass, into laydowns and under docks where an open-hook wacky rig would hang.
Weightless Texas Rig
Sin plomo: un stick bait o jerkbait blando texposado en un anzuelo de boca ancha, cayendo y zigzagueando por su propio peso en los primeros 1,5 m del agua.
