Flipping Texas Rig (Creature/Craw): When it wins

Shallow, cover-oriented bass that are not buried in mats: pre-spawn wood, dock posts, brush piles, riprap and boulders, flooded bushes, reed edges. Spring and fall for largemouth, summer riprap for smallmouth. The bulky profile falls with more action per foot than a worm and draws reaction strikes; the pegged weight keeps the rig together as it enters cover.
