Jigs: Bladed jigs

A swim-jig head with a hexagonal blade clipped to the line tie. The blade makes it hunt side to side and vibrate hard. The line ties to the blade, so it is a jig, not a wire bait. Chatterbait is Z-Man's brand name (Ron Davis Sr., 1998).

Against a spinnerbait: the bladed jig rips out of grass and is erratic; the spinnerbait runs steadier and comes through wood better.
