What daily windows should I plan a muskie day around?

Anchor the day on the two light transitions — the first ninety minutes of daylight and the last two hours — which consistently out-produce everything between. Layer on the disruptions: an approaching storm front, a wind switch that starts waves breaking on a structure, moonrise and moonset (many trophy logs skew toward moon events overlapping dusk). Between windows the game is preparation, not grinding: re-rig, sharpen hooks, and pre-position on the best spot before the window opens rather than arriving during it. Muskie days are won in four short bursts, not eight even hours.
